Photography at the Gibson Mansion
The Gibson Mansion is a historic, lived-in property and a shared experience for our overnight guests. Photography is welcome by reservation and is intended to complement the guest experience while preserving the comfort, privacy, and character of the space.
Photography in Common Spaces & Grounds
Photography sessions in common areas (such as the parlor, dining room, staircases, porches) or on the grounds are available by reservation.
$75 per hour for small sessions
$150 per hour for large groups, including wedding parties or extended family groups
Sessions must be scheduled in advance
Set-up and breakdown time are included in your reservation window
Because the mansion is an active lodging property, photographers must remain flexible and respectful of guests moving through shared spaces.
Photography in Guest Rooms
Photography inside guest rooms is permitted only if the room is booked for an overnight stay.
Hourly or short-term room use is not allowed
The room must be reserved for the night in the name of the guest or photographer
All photography must conclude by 8:00 pm, even when a room is booked
This policy ensures guest privacy and helps protect the historic interiors of the mansion.
Content & Conduct Guidelines
To protect the comfort of our guests and the integrity of the Gibson Mansion:
All individuals must be fully clothed at all times
Boudoir, lingerie, implied nudity, or adult-themed photo sessions are not permitted
Photography must remain appropriate for a shared lodging environment
Any session that does not comply with these guidelines may be ended immediately without refund.
Time Restrictions
No photography is permitted after 8:00 pm, including sessions in booked guest rooms
Overuse of reserved time will result in additional fees
Late or extended sessions are not allowed
Guest-First Policy
The Gibson Mansion is first and foremost a place of rest and retreat. All photography sessions must:
Remain quiet and unobtrusive
Avoid blocking hallways or common areas
Respect guest privacy at all times
Follow staff direction if adjustments are needed
Failure to follow these expectations may result in the session being ended without refund.
